Georgia Tech Reloads for the SummerThursday, May 26 2005

Atlanta, GA - Georgia Tech Team Handball has completed its preparation for its summer schedule, under the continued leadership of club president Olivier Guerreau. This summer's program will be geared more towards beginners, as this short school session also doubles as the recruiting period for GTTH. Practices will be four times a week and prioritize the basic fundamentals of team handball. The team will also benefit from having about one exhibition game every weekend, thanks to the American Handball Association.

President Olivier is excited about bringing GTTH back to prominence, and so far he's off to a good start. After a promising 5th-place finish at the 2005 US Collegiate Nationals in which GTTH had only 2 weeks to prepare, Tech will be traveling this August to NY/NJ for the Flanders Grass Tournament. The club will also establish its signature tournament, the White 'n Gold Cup, tentatively scheduled for early July. This tournament will feature for the first time an alumni team made of former Tech Handball players. For more information about the White 'n Gold Cup or the GTTH Alumni Team, please contact info@gtteamhandball.com.
